For many, the school year has come to an end. Children are getting ready to partake in summer activities and caregivers are excited about the break too.
The school year may be done, but our responsibilities as parents when it comes to our little ones is still very present.
We've prayed Psalm 91 over our daughters throughout the school year for their protection and the protection of their teachers and peers, and we plan on continuing to do so throughout the summer months.
Below is a prayer we pray over our own daughters and invite you to pray over your children, every morning this summer! Save it, and share with a friend who may need to pray this too.
PRAYER
God we thank you for another day.
We thank you for your grace and your mercy.
We thank you for keeping us through the night.
As we get ready to go about our day, we trust that you will be our refuge and fortress.
We pray that you cover our child(ren) in the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We put on the full armor of God on ourselves and our children.
We pray that no hurt, harm or danger will come near our child(ren) - That you go before our children, and make every crooked path straight and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper.
We thank you for their going and coming. We ask that you command your angels concerning our child(ren) to guard them in all their ways.
